Guy started violin lessons courtesy of the New Zealand education system in the 1970's.
He has a fine arts degree and has worked in many areas of the visual and performing arts.
In 1985 he headed for Australia and began performing in bands in the Sydney pub circuit playing bass and violin. In the '90s Guy played original, funky, acoustic, pop-songs with Douglass Bishop in a band called Twang.
Guy has a great natural ear for music and harmony. The Bob Dylan Revue benefits well from his experience and expertise as a fine, all-rounder musician who performs with a generously high-energy degree of Dylan-devotion.
